QUESTION:

Find a current event that illustrates one of the types of workplace misconduct described in chapter 3. Articles must be within the last 12 months. In response to your peers, offer solutions that other companies have initiated to improve their ethical culture. Hint: Look for articles on highly ethical companies–determine what they are doing right.

REQUIREMENTS:

A discussion board prompt will be posted on Blackboard. Each post has the following requirements:

❖ Must be a minimum of 300 words (Include the word count in parentheses at the end of your post. Failure to do so will result in a 1-point deduction).

❖Thoroughly address the writing prompt, and comment on a minimum of two peer posts. Be respectful, and provide insightful feedback.

❖ Expressing an opinion is not enough. Do NOT respond with a simple “I agree or disagree…” You must further the conversation. Quality posts reflect critical thinking and inquiry. Cite a minimum of one primary or secondary source in each response. Your textbook does not count as a source. At the conclusion of each posting period, you should have a minimum of three different quality sources, cited in APA format. See the section on “Source Data” for additional information.

 Dictionaries, encyclopedias, blogs, and Wikipedia are not acceptable sources. Use the CUI online library to research journal articles for argumentation.

 Post throughout the open period to contribute to the on-going conversation.
