Great Firewall of China and Internet Censorship Technologies Research Paper

In the past two chapters, we have learned about the how Internet works and how to secure a network. However, this is a double-edge sword. The same technologies have been used for Internet Censorship like the infamous Great Firewall of China. Major US companies such as Cisco and Microsoft have benn criticized for their involvement in Internet Censorship in China. On the other hand, these technologies can also be used to circumvent internet censorship or “climb over the wall” as what people call it in China. In this mini project, you will explore how these technologies can be used for internet censorship.
