FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY. Using the Memo Template attached, provide definitions of the following terms used in the public relations practice. Delete the sample text in the memo template and insert your own text. Use one paragraph (with bullets, if desired) with complete sentences for each term. While this is a simple, straightforward assignment to measure your understanding of some of the terms commonly used by practicing public relations professionals, keep in mind that each of the assignments in this course represents a significant portion (20%) of the overall course grade.

Your submitted work should be completed in a professional, business communications format. It is expected that the memo format will be followed exactly (your assignment will need to be much longer than the sample text given in the memo template).Make sure complete answers are given, and your document is free from typographical errors, misspellings, and other mistakes that would not be acceptable in a professional business communications environment.

Another aspect of this assignment is to practice the art of being resourceful. If you have difficulty finding a term in the textbook or in the lecture material, additional information about each term can be found from multiple sources on the internet. However, use your common sense when pulling material from the internet. For example, some students in the past have written that a “communications technician” is someone who repairs telephone lines and equipment. That may be true in some cases, but that meaning does not apply within the context of public relations or crisis communications
