Week 5 Assignment: Oath of Medicine

Based upon this week’s lecture regarding legal requirements and restrictions that apply to marketing your acupuncture services, create a short “Oath” that demonstrates your understanding and commitment to what you can and cannot do and offer to potential patients. The oath should focus on ethics as they pertain to marketing and / or you vision and mission for your practice.

Use the supplemental resources included in this week’s resource list as inspiration, but please note that those supplemental resources include “oaths” and “ethics” pertaining to the actual practice of acupuncture, too. For this assignment, I am only asking for your oath to focus on the ethics of your marketing strategies.

This should be no less than three or four specific statements and no more than one page in length. This oath will be included in your final portfolio after you consider and make adjustments for any faculty feedback.
