Today you’re writing about Chimamanda Adichie’s Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions(2017).

As you read, consider both how Adichie makes her case for her 15 suggestions, and what you think of the suggestions themselves. How does she convince you? Which examples are particularly well chosen? Which suggestions are your favorites?

In the back of your mind, also think about how you might make your own case for your own suggestions in your very own feminist manifesto. That will be your task in the Module 1 Activity: “My Feminist Manifesto.”
